Who Gets the First Card in One-Blind Games?
I know in Hold em games with small/big blind that small blind gets the first card and action begins to the left of the button, but if I'm dealing a hold'em game with only one blind, who do I deal the first card to and who starts the action?

Hi Jackie
Playing hold'em with only one blind is a bit unusual but this is the most natural flow of the game with just a big blind in play. The dealing starts with the player to the left of the button, in this case the big blind, since the dealer always receives the final card. The action then begins with the player to the left of the big blind and NOT to the left of the button. However, on the flop and all later streets the player to the left of the button opens the betting.
