Howdy, i've had some strange luck playing internet poker recently and i thought you might be interested as i'm probably one of the only people to win less than $1 with two separate royal flushes in no limit hold em. On both occasions i only got the royals on the river and so i'd been playing tight before it came up as i hadn't had a real hand and then no one would match my small raises. the first royal flush was the first i'd ever had in over 6 years of playing poker and the second one occurred tonight, a week and a half after the first.

 

Yet the second one happened after an interesting night of luck. In a small online game of $.05/10 i was dealt jack 2 as someone raised pre flop and j 2 off suit is a wank hand...lo and behold two ducks appeared on the flop followed by a jack on the river...irritating but it has happened to me before...however roughly 4 hands later i got dealt jack 2 offsuit again...folded again due to a preflop raise and jack 2 2 comes out on the flop....followed by a 2 on the river...absolutely gutted and determined to play jack 2 next time i was dealt it. i get dealt jh 2 and play it...10 q of hearts come up on the flop, no one raises... ace of hearts on the turn raise from my opponent to 10c, i call and king of hearts comes up on the flop....i raise to 10c and my opponent folds. I'm completely bemused at my lack of wealth from these hands!
