What Is Railbirding?
A railbird is someone who watches a poker table from "the rail," the barrier used to separate the players from the spectators. Someone can be railbirding a particular player or a poker table in general. In most casinos, it's hard to see much of the action while railbirding. The rail is usually some distance from the table and the players block the cards.
