Tournament Schedule In CA

Question: we live in califronia and have recently started playing holdem. by the way, your website has been invaluable .

i remember when i used to be into blackjack there were some sites that informed you of tournaments and locations to play. it would also mention locations to regularly play and what denominations, rules, etc

wandering if you know of a web address for holdem that informs the like. when i say locations for tournaments & regular play i mean actual locations not cyber locations.

Answer: Thanks for the question Glenn. There are a lot of tournaments in CA and I think the best place to find out about them is to pick up a copy of Card Player Magazine. They have a bunch of ads for various tournaments as well as a directory that shows when the action happens.

If you live near a cardroom they usually have copies there for free. Or you can go online and get a subscription. You can also call your local cardrooms and ask for a schedule. Tourneys are more popular now and most casinos have lots of promotional ones so you can also call your local one for details.
