The Minimum Raise in No Limit Texas Holdem
Question:
If there are 10/20 blinds in No Limit Hold 'em and Player A raises to 50, what is the minimum amount the next player can reraise? Is it up to 100 total, which is double the previous bet or 80 total because the previous raise was 30 more (20-->50)?

Answer:
You always have to match the previous raise in No Limit Holdem. (The minimum raise for the first player entering the pot is equal to the big blind.) The first raise in this case is: 50-20=30. So the next raise at least has to be up to 80 (50+30=80).
