Do friends A and B split the pot because they both have a 6 and use the 3 ace's to make a full house, or do they use a 6th card to decide a winning such as their other hold card as a kicker, like friend a winning because J beats 9, also can a winner be chose by suit? Thanks

ps what would be a way to play to never split pots?

Answer: The answer is that you both split the pot. Remember that in all situations, the best five cards play. You both have the same best five cards -- aces full of sixes. Holdem poker has never given precedence to one suite over the other. You can play however you like though. Also, holdem always allows for the split of pots if the players hold the same hand. If you don't want to do that in your home games then you can come up with some other solution. You can flip a coin, draw a high card or play rock-paper-scissors. Whatever you choose to do is fine but it will change the dynamics of the game.
