Running Hands Twice
I was watching a high-stakes cash game on tv. 2 players went all-in (board was 910J player 1 holds KJ player 2 AA) the players didn't show their cards, and after the turn (A) and river confirmed the AA hand to be the winner, they agreed to draw the turn and river again! - I think they called it a second run. This time a K came making KJ the winning hand, and they then split the pot.
I couldn't understand what was going on here, why did the guy with trip aces agreed to draw again when he could've been quite confident of having the winning hand (or is this agreement made before the first set of turn and river??)?

Like I say, I've never seen this before, where is this type of play normally seen?
Look forward to your response, keep up the good work.

Answer:
Running a hand twice is something players do in big games. Sometimes they'll run the turn and river twice, sometimes the whole hand. This doesn't change the odds at all. If one player wins both hands then he takes everything, other wise they chop it. The reason for this is, partly because it's fun, and secondly because it's kind of professional courtesy.
Imagine if you had KK vs AA preflop and lost everything in that one hand. This is a way to kind of take the bite out of that. Other things they do include selling insurance and side bets. You can do side bets for anything, from the color of the flop (smoke/fire) to the rank of the next card, who's going to win in a hand, etc.
