Playing Cards Out Of Turn
Top 3 Beginner Rooms
1- Flop dealt
2- Round of betting.
3 - 4th street dealt
Player A checks, then Player B yells out I check/call and throws down his cards. So, he thinks the match is over, but the river has yet to be dealt.
Is that a forfeited hand for Player B?
Any help with this would be great, I have having a hard time finding any rules on playing cards out of turn, or early. Thanks.
Tim
Answer: No, the hand isn't forfeited, it still gets played out and on the river both players again need to make their moves. People acting out of turn happens all the time at cardrooms and most of the time the dealer corrects the person and warns them as well as makes sure everyone before them had their chance to check/raise/call/etc.
The dealer warning is kind of meaningless though because I've never seen anyone get kicked out of a club for playing out of turn. They just keep getting warned. Most people don't do it intentionally though, it's from not paying attention to the game.
