Odd Chip Amount In Pot
Question: I ran into a situation I'd never seen before last week. 3 players in the pot, the river card comes out, making a K high straight on the board. No one has the ace, so there is a three way split. There just happens to be 2 odd chips in the pot. Does the first person to the left of the dealer get both, or do the 2 people to the left of the dealer split?

Answer: It depends on the size of the game. If the game is large, the dealer should be able to make change and give each person their fair share. Typically, cardrooms don't split dollar chips so the extra chip goes to the first person to left of the dealer. If there is a remainder of two dollar chips, then yes, the two players starting to the left of the dealer button get them.
