Further Book Suggestions

Question: I've bought some books through your website. Do want to thank you for your suggestion and great website. I've read: Winning Low Limit Hold'em (Lee Jones), Hold'em Excellence (Lou Krieger), The Theory of Poker (David Sklansky).

I've gotten a lot out of these books have read each book twice before going on to the next one. I'm going through "The Theory of Poker" for the second time. A little long haired but I've gotten some good concepts out of it and looking forward to cementing some of those ideas the second time around.

I've only been playing since December 2003. I basically play low limit Hold"em mostly 2-4 or 2-6 spread in the casinos and online I use PokerStar.com but only play money.

Felt the books metioned above have improved my play. Still looking to improve, could you give some suggestions on a couple of books and maybe some practice software.

Thanks!

Glenn

Answer: Those are good books. I would also read Holdem Poker For Advanced Players, Middle Limit Holdem Poker, and you have to own a copy of Super System. Just remember that these books may not apply to the games you are playing in now but you can still benefit from reading them. Anything that gets you thinking about the game is a good thing, even if the books may be a little over-your-head right now.
