Everyone goes all-in, who gets second place
Question: Here is the situation:
Three players are left in the game.
Two players go all in and the third player calls.
The third player wins the hand. Which eliminates the other two players.
What determines second place?

Answer: That came up recently in a big event and I'm pretty sure the ruling was for the person with the second largest chip stack. So if one person has 1million in chips, another has 100k and another has only 10k then the 100k should get second if they all go all-in at the same time and the chip leader wins. It wouldn't make sense to evaluate losing hands for money that isn't theirs. Also, doing it that way would open a hole for someone with less chips to end up beating someone with more chips -- which can never happen in one hand.
