Question:Gidday...Just had to pipe up and say, "Loved the flame mail." I don't know what it was; What you said in response. Or how you said it. But it frightened me to think that I'd ever end up at your table. In fact more so than any of the great, free, advise, thoughts, strategies, analyses, laughs that you've given us. Ummm, there aren't many of "US", are there? lol

Bit of a short history...if I could indulge...

Top 3 Beginner Rooms

Lets just say, 2, well maybe 3 months, and I'm hooked for the journey I feel. Started seeing, mate I'm only gunna call it by one name now and that's, "The Game"[Not 3H, Not O8, THP!! btw 3H...jah get it? I reckon ya did but just in case...think wrestling.

Yeah I know, not real good but anyways I digress...btw I've just got back from the bowls club(Lawn Bowls, just down the street..) and after having a couple of quite Fridee ales with the fam[w, 2k]heheee, sorry, I pulled $900 out of the button mashers. Absolutely blown away by it...at what odds hey? THP's taught me that. I used to play the mashers all the time. $2/300 every month..that is until 3 months ago when cable WPT got me lookin'.

I'd seen "TG" on tellie maybe 1/2 a dozen times when I decided to drop the mashers, get out the CC, and make a deposit. So where'd I end up? The biggest fish pond around so I later found out..Pacific. And no, I don't like the term much meself. That's because I still get me legs chewed up to the knees frequently...but I'll get there.

Not gunna drag this one on too long but I just gotta tell you about my first forey into B&M. Nahh BrisVegas doesn't have "TG" at the Conrad yet.. it'll be here soon they say, had to ask/tell em didn't I? lol. I hosted it. btw w & 2k(7,10) all play now...ain't luv grand!? lmao.

5 guys from work and me. No w, no 2k..for the 1st one. Anyway was a bit nervous to start with because I've been so far into everything I could read on "TG" over that period, that I always had an article of one type or another on my desk, and the boys thought I'd shark em. After some performances I wasn't so sure. But the clincher for me was when the Chips finally arrived via courier, had to have REAL chips, and "The Fam" played a few rounds that night. Wednesday night, and the big one was on Saturday(last weekend). We played $1/2 and started with $32.50 each. 7yr old beatuiful girl ends up with $47odd. 10yr old boy wonder $44odd. Hero a crunched $20odd. Queen...a busted up $13odd.

What a wake up hey? Yeah, play money, but it's one of the best lessons I've had I reckon. From Tells, to Bad Beats, to Rocks(WB), to Calling Stations(BG). To Manics(Q). To Loose Aggressive(H)....it had it all.

Friday rocks around and I really haven't a clue as to how many'd turn up. Put a flyer on the notice board at work blah, blah. Well Saturday turns up and I go get all the BBQ gear in order....and 5 guys turn up for a perfect table size for the Chips I had. Right, BBQ done, let's deal a round, get the texas hold'em rules and how to play sorted(stop drooling will ya LOL) and the real stuff begins. This'll stop the droll, 25c/50c. $20 in and $5ea to the house for the Chips.

What a, I'm gunna have to say it, FUCKEN GREAT NIGHT. Started the real stuff at 7pm and finshed at 4am. H $48 up and able to turn around and go sleep in my own bed!!! Got to work on Mondee thinkin all the boys'd be up me for the rent but, ohhh noooo. I couldn't have been further from the mark. "Whens the next one", was ringing out from everywhere. "Ya shoulda told me I woulda been there", was the next favourite. "Make sure ya let us know when the next one is", followed soon after. And to top it off as a made thing, some bright spark, and I'm all for it mind you, came out with. "We'll have to get a topless dealer at the next one"! Bloody laugh I did....specially when I know that the next one'll be 50c/$1.

Mate your great...I'm going back to start from the beginning of the site again. Bit stuck in the yoyo pattern at the moment. Just a bit too much 1 step forward 1 1/2 steps back. Still playing at Pacific...I know people say the software sux but I don't mind it. Not in the same league as playing live though.Would you mind giving The Conrad a quick call and telling them to HURRY UP!! :))

btw how's that other Aussie bloke eh? 7.5mil against pocket aces with a 7 high straight!! I think that was how it went...I don't have ESPN yet...gotta get the BR up. Looking forward to the next three years disappearing so that can be me!! Better move up to $1/2 soon! LOL
