At Showdown Who Shows First
Question: I am a beginner to texas hold em and play every now and again with a few friends. My question is who shows their hand first when the betting is over. We had been playing that whoever called shows the hand first, but my friend, after a trip to Tunica, now says that it should be whoever is left of the dealer should show first, who is right

Answer: That's a good question and the answer is that it depends on how the betting on the river was done.
There are two situations:
1. Someone bet and someone called on the river. The bettor shows first and then it goes around clockwise for each person who called.
2. Everyone checked on the river. In this case, the person who is first to act goes first (like you said the person to the left of the dealer button).
