Question: 4 players are in for the flop

one with the least amount of money goes all in

the 3 others all call

question....Does the player who went all in have to reveal his cards after he is through betting or at the end of the game when the others are through betting?

question 2.... If the person who went all in has the best hand do the additonal bets go back to whomever made them or does the second best hand get to win the bets beyond the amount that he has put in?

Answer: No, the person who went all-in doesn't show their cards until the hand is over since other players may still be betting. On TV they often show the hands right after going all-in because it is usually heads up. If there are just two players it is fine to flip the cards over as soon as the person who went all-in is called; you don't do that if there are three or more people in though.

If the all-in player has the best hand then the additional bets don't go back to who made them, they are put in a side pot and the best hand takes that. A person can win only as much as they wagered. You should check out some of the other questions here on all-ins -- it is explains them in detail.
