All-in For Less Then Big Blind

Question: If someone who is supposed to post a blind busts out on the previous hand, what difficulties could arise by just moving the blinds to the next person? If you just move the BB to the next person in line, and put everything behind it like it's supposed to be, it seems to me that all you have to do is occasionally not have a small blind that round - that being when the small blind would have been the person who busted out, or when it would cause someone who just posted a small blind to post it again - or put the button at an empty seat.

I'm trying to iron out any complications before they happen, so if you can think of an example where this wouldn't work, and a suggestion on how to fix it, I'd really like to hear about it.

Thanks for the great site.

Answer: There are three sitautions that can arise.

1. When someone who is going to be the dealer next busts out.

2. When someone who is going to be the small blind next busts out.

3. When someone who is going to be the big bling busts out.
