All-In Advice With AA

Question: Just a quick question that´s been on my mind, If you hold pocket Aces, and someone goes all-in pre-flop, is it always justified or recommended to call? Likewise, if you´re sure someone will call your all-in, should you always go for it?

There might be factors I haven´t considered, but seems to me, a pair of aces would always be favorite pre-flop. And, seems to me, if you have a chance of doubleing up or knocking someone out, and are the favorite, it´s the smart thing to do. Do you have an opinion on this matter, is there something I´m not considering here?

Answer: You are correct, there is never a hand preflop that you wouldn't go all-in with when you hold AA. AA is the favorite and if you can push all your money in when you have it preflop, you are happy for the opportunity. Now post flop is completely different. There are a thousand ways AA can go wrong on the flop and you wouldn't take the same approach.
