Question:

We had a game of Holdem recently. Four jacks and a two of clubs was showing after the flop. Three players were left in. One guy had a two and an Ace.I had a two and a nine. The third guy had a seven and a three. Who wins? Does the four of a kind go to the highest fifth card?

Answer:

You all have four of a kind since it's on the table. But a poker hand consists of five cards, so you need to add one of your hole cards to complete the hand - or as you said - go to the highest fifth card. Therefore, the player holding A2 scoops the pot with J J J J A, which is the absolute nuts.
