There are 6 placements and seven players left................

Top 3 Beginner Rooms

In this hand,
Player 1 goes all in.
Player 2 calls and has more money than player 1.
Player 3 calls player 1's all in and raises putting player 2 all in also.
Everyone else folded.
Player 3's hand beats player 2's and player 1's hand, but player 1's hand beat player 2's hand.

So, who places 7th and who places 6th?

In what order do you reveal your cards and count/consider someone out.

Please help! ! !

Answer:

Hi T-zag,

When several players get knocked out in the same hand in a tournament, the player that had the most chips going into the hand will place higher than the other player in the ranking.

If all players except for one are all-in in a tournament the cards are usually revealed right away, because none of the players can continue to act in the hand. The positions of the players don't matter when it comes to all-ins, only the stack sizes beforehand and the hands they get in the end.

In the example you describe Player 2 will place in 6th place and Player 1 in 7th. Player 3 covers the other players and knocks them both out with the best hand. Player 2 finishes higher up than Player 1 because he has more chips. The fact that Player 1's hand beats Player 2's hand has no significance here.
