Paradise Poker, has just like Pacific Poker, been around for ages. Paradise was one of the first poker rooms online and was a couple of years back the biggest room, a position now held by Party Poker. Paradise is of course eager to get their lost market shares back but since the USA market is pretty much dominated by Party Poker and Poker Stars, Paradise have turned their attention to Europe.

In Europe Paradise Poker have launched several successful campaigns and the site have now many European players. I actually like to play against some of them because they are good players but at the lower levels they are just as bad as others. Unfortunately there aren't many high stake games going on so I don't play at Paradise Poker often, but when I happen to find a game going there I like to play at Paradise.

Unlike many other sites they offer heads-up games. In Hold'em there are plenty of low and midlevel games going on, 24/7. They also have some very good freerolls, including one with a total prize sum of $1,000,000! Apart from this Paradise Poker has one very good thing going for them and that's their software which is very much to my liking. It's fast, smooth and very pleasant to the eye. The support is very good and can be reached by all the usual means: phone, online chat and email.
