Missing one hand

So I'm playing 1/2 NL Holdem at the local casino for about an hour not really catching any hands. I leave my chips on the table and get up for 1 minute to make a phone call.

When I come back one hand later the cards are in the process of being dealt so i sit down to watch the action and wait for the next hand. I watch the cards unfold in front of me and there it is... four 5's getting beat by four kings... BAD BEAT!!!

The entire table starts jumping up and down, 60K bad beat jackpot AWESOME. The only problem was I was not physically in the hand so I'm not getting any cut of the 60K. 30K to the loser, 20k to the winner, 1,700 to everyone else... simply because I decided to get up and miss a hand. If I was sitting and never got up nobody would have made a single penny. So... you say... everyone at the table chips in and splits up some of the winnings to the guy who made this all possible... hardly.

I got $25 from one guy $50 from another, luckily $200 from the gentleman who won 20k and a measly $50 from the guy who won $30000, everybody else turned a cold sholder and shrugged it off like it was nothing. Is all I can say to those people is beware of KARMA. I love how people are so considerate of others. /Jason

Answer:
That's a tough beat Jason. I'm glad to hear that at least some of the players decided to split part of their winnings.
