Learn Texas Holdem

Just finished a horrible day at the Oaks Club in Emeryville, Ca.. my home club...This particular bad beat happened yesterday, but today was just awful all around.

Here's the story.... I'm in the big blind with Ace jack offsuit in a 3-6 limit game... nobody raises, so i do even though i know it's not gonna knock anyone out, and it didn't...flop comes out A J J, two hearts ( so what i flopped a full house!)

I check the guy o n my left bets and a guy accross the table raises, i just call trying to keep as many people in as possible, unfortunately everyone but the raiser drops out on the turn when it brings a king... i check the guy bets out and i raise, he just calls.. river brings another king! i check he bets and i call, he turns over K 4 hearts!

That's my story...wasn't by any means a big loss, i still came out ahead that night... today i took the past few days money to the 6-12 game and it was all bad, no cards and would get caught when i had the best of it.. just the way it goes i guess.
