Learn Texas Holdem

OK, I recently dished out the worst beat I have ever witnessed. I was playing online at a 50c/$1.00 NL Hold'em table.

I'm going alright, but haven't seen many flops. I get dealt QcJc and raise about 2 bucks, kinda hoping everyone would fold. BB calls.

The flop came Q86 rainbow, no clubs. Other guy bets minimum, I move all in with top pair hoping he has a smaller pocket pair or a straight draw. He calls, and turns over pocket sixes! He has three bloody sixes against my Queens.

Turn comes another 8 so he has a boat, but it gives me a tiny hope of taking the pot, and sure enough another damn 8 came! A pot of $48 was all mine.

After the flop I had 3.5% chance of winning, but...somehow...it payed off! I'm sure the guy with the lower full house was quite...annoyed :)
