Oasis Poker Rules

Oasis Poker is played with five cards just like most other poker variations. It's a fast paced and exciting casino poker game, so fasten your seat belts.
This is how you play Oasis Poker:

1. Place your bets
Each hand starts wit ha bet. Drag your chips to the circle labelled Ante. This is your first bet. Make it as big as your heart tells you.

2. Receive the cards
When the bet has been placed, click on the Deal button. The cards are dealt. You receive all five cards right away. This is the hand you'll be playing with.
The dealer also receives five cards, one of them face up so you can see it.

3. Make your move
With all cards on the table, you're faced with a decision. Should you continue playing or throw your hand away (fold)? If you want to continue playing to the bitter end, you have to natch your Ante bet with a new bet twice as big. This is called Call. Click on Call if you want to stay in the hand.

4. Showdown
If you stayed in the hand, now the hands are displayed and compared to see who's the winner.

5. Payout time
If the dealer doesn't have a hand containing at least and ace and a king, he'll fold his hand. In this case you win an amount equal to the Ante bet only.
If your hands are equally strong, you get your money back. It's a push. If the dealer's hand is better than yours, you lose. Unfortunate occurrence.
But if your hand is stronger than the dealer's, you win! The minimum amount you can win equals the sum of your two bets. On top of this, if you have a hand that is better than a pair, you win more than even money on your second bet (the Call bet). Payouts are specified in the payout table in the upper left corner. The finest hand you can have is a Royal Flush and it pays 100 to 1! So, it's as simple as that. Get a game going and enjoy the journey! On Learn-Texas-Holdem.com we never run out of hands.
