Even if he had the flush I still had a few outs

So anyways the hand is dealt I got kk and in SB so i just limp in 4 out of 9 call and then BB raises. 4x the blind I know he is trying to steal the blinds so I wait till it gets back to me all folded except 4th from BB. I raise 50 which is more then 2x pot, bb instantly folds and 4th from bb calls. We are now heads up. Flop comes 3 spades one is my 3rd K, opponent bets 25 into a $130 dollar pot. I am worried about the flush so I raise to 50 hoping he doesn't have the nut flush and I can scare him away. My raise to 50 leaves him with 25 which after a few minutes he calls and goes all in. So now I am pretty much pot committed 25 to call and I have over 100 in the pot. Plus I had him on a draw and even if he had the flush I still had a few outs. Anything that pairs the board gives me a boat or I can catch my 4th K not likely but possible. So I call and say, do you have the flush. He says "not yet I will on the river." The river gave him the flush. Is that a bad beat or should I of played it different pre flop? In a tourney I would of gone all in after BB raised.
Second story not a bad beat but a bad player. A round later I find myself in SB again this time A5 diamonds everyone calls so I limp in BB raise to $7 again everyone calls now 10 players at the table so counting my 2 pot is $65. I see perfect opp to steal some money so i push all in $60. I was sure no one had anything and sure no one would call. Well i was 1/2 right no one had anything guy 2 after bb called with 39 with k6 off suit i got a 5 on flop he got 6 6 on turn and river. The guy should of never called my bluff and he got lucky. That's my luck.
I got 100's lol AK suited against AK off who gets flush on the turn. I hate poker.

Hi Jay,
Thanks for your email. I don't think you played the first hand badly. With a hank like KK you don't mind to get called by opponents with lesser hands when you raise 25 times BB. In loose games like that this is definitely a winning play in the long run. You can definitely argue for an all-in here, but I like your raise better. After you flopped the set of kings I can't see you getting away from this hand, especially when you're up against one opponent. When he's all-in with over $200 in the pot and it only cost you $25 to call there is no chance in hell that you can fold. Even against a made flush you still have about 35 % to win the pot.
You played the hand almost perfectly, my only objection is that you could have put your opponent all-in right away on the flop, but that's only a minor detail. In the end you just got unlucky. The same goes for the second hand where you make a good read, but unfortunately there's nothing that can protect you against lucky bad players.
Hope poker will be kinder to you in the future.
Regards,
Clark Jensen
