Answer:

The rules in WSOP state:

Poker is an individual game. Soft play will result in penalties that may include forfeiture of chips and/or disqualification. Chip dumping will result in disqualification.

Chip dumping is when a player deliberately looses his chips to another player. Say that two friends win two satellite seats to WSOP Main Event. One of them is a great poker player and the other barely knows the rules. The player who can't play the game will have little or no chance of winning the tournament, so the two friends decide that the better player is going to take all their chips.

In the first hand, the bad player raises to 9,900 pre-flop (in WSOP, the start stack is 10,000). His friend calls. When the flop comes, the better player bets his last 100 chips and the bad player folds.

Now they have accomplished their mission, and the one who actually can play poker has doubled his stack. Unfortunately, this move couldn't be more obvious, and both players are definitely going to be disqualified for chip dumping.
