Can you move a player after he has posted the blind?
Question:
Dear
I have a very important question to ask, and hope you have the answer for me. I was engaged in a satellite Texas Holdem tournament in Casino du Liban (Lebanon)

The issue is:
The dealer asked us to place the small and big blinds and he started to shuffle the cards. At the time he was starting to distribute cards, the manager of the floor asked me to pull my chips from inside the line, and get all my chips and moved me to another table .
Does he have the right to move player at the stage where his bb is in?
What are the rules to move players from a table to another one in a satellite tournaments?
Thank you
/ Ghassan
Answer:
Hi Ghassan
We think the floor manager made a mistake by moving you to another table at that point. When the blinds have been posted, the hand has started. The floor manager should thus have waited for the hand to finish, before moving you to another table.
The general rules for moving players in a poker tournament are that the active tables should be as balanced as possible, and that players who are moved should be seated in similar position at their new table.
