Question:

Long time, no talk - I was wondering if you have given any advice regarding a good way for players to get to the WSOP?

I guess I'm talking about those of us that can't quite fork over the $10k for the buy ins. Seems a lot of places are running a lot of promotions, but every time I read one of them it's like 1 entry per 1 million entrants.

Do you have any good recommendations that a person might pursue as a way to get to the World Series next year?

It's difficult to name a specific promotion, but generally speaking PokerStars is the site that sends the most players to the World Series of Poker. But, as you mention, lots of other sites offer WSOP satellites as well.

The best advice we can give you is to look through as many WSOP promotions as you possibly can, and pick the best ones. All of a sudden, you may find yourself competing for a $10,000 prize with just fifteen other players in a $5 satellite.

That is of course a dream scenario, but believe us, there are very good offers out there! And if you apply yourself a little, you will be able to find them.
