I won the poker.com $12,500 WSOP package last year. On the first day I played (1D) Dario Minieri the scarf guy, or the kid that looks like Harry Potter was sitting to my right.

I was dealt AJ and was 1st spot to the right of the dealer. So he was 2 spots to the right of the dealer. The blinds were 100/200. When it came to him he limped in with 200. I raised to 600 3X the big blind. Everyone folded to around to him and he called.

Flop came Ac Jc 8 something red dont remember. He checked and I went in 2000 he said all in trying to just push me off my cards he had been doing it all day so far and everyone at table let him keep doing it by folding to him. I sat for a long time thinking what could he have. I thought the odds of him having AA JJ or 88 were worth calling him on so I called put my 18,000 in.

We turned over our cards and he had 10 something red and 3c. So I had AAJJ8 and he had AcJc10red8red3c. Turn was a club and river was a club. I had no clubs. He beat me with a runner-runner flush.

The only club he had in his hand was the 3. I shook his hand said good luck to all and left the table.

That I feel is my worst bad beat especially on first day for me of WSOP.

That's really a nasty beat, but don't give up. There are plenty of 2008 WSOP satellites available if you want to give it another go.
