Learn Texas Holdem

I was in a friendly high stakes game with some friends of mine....I was low on chips, and being a little loose from some beers, decided to go all-in blind. My friends congratulated me for my bravery, and one person, I'll call him "Levi" called. The flop came up Kc, Ks, and 4c.

 

Since he was the only one who called, we flipped our cards over...Imagine my surprise when I look at my hand and see Kd, Jd! I was elated! Then I saw his hand...

Kh, Ah. I just about cried. However there was still a chance! I needed the jack...

The turn came and it was a 4, pairing the board again, and negating his ace. I'm super excited again, because I think hey, I'll get off pretty easy for my stupidity.

The river? An ace....

I'm sent home packing.
